How I cope with greasy hair

What I use for my hair:
1. Fructis Pure Shine (buy here)  - 2. L'Oreal Elseve anti-break (buy here) - 3. L'Oreal Studio Silk&Gloss (buy here) - 4. Fructis Pure Shine Conditioner (buy here

Greasy hair is no longer taboo, so let's talk about it. It's the irritating feeling you feel when your hair isn't as perfect as you get it the first day you washed it. When your hair looks like it hates you.
I know what I'm talking about since I cope with greasy hair for a long long time. I just can't have nice hair for two days! *sad face*

Here are a few tips and tricks I learned and wanted to share with the world:

 I use shampoo without silicone
Silicone makes sure your hair looks shiny and beautiful. BUT it makes your hair greasy!
I use the Fructis Pure Shine without silicone (shown in picture)

I never use conditioner on my scalp
It makes your hair weak and easily greasy. I only use this for the tips of my hair so I can brush it much easier.

I try and don't change my hairstyle that much
Loose hair - ponytail - loose hair - ponytail.
It makes your scalp greasy… Also don't stroke your fingers through it that much.

I try not to use heat
At least I try to use it less...

• I wash my hair in the morning
I try as much as I can to wash my hair in the morning. The second day it's not that greasy as when I wash it in the evening!

NO HOT WATER
I wash my hair with cool water. Water that's too hot damages your hair after a while. Try to use cool water even cold water is good! Cold water makes the structure of your hair better.

Feel free to share some other tips and tricks you have to cope with greasy hair! We can do this together to fight against it! *fistbump*

20 things I want to do this summer

Style pick: The Kimono

You can buy my Kimono here

You're probably wondering what's a must-have this season? What do I wear with my bikini when it gets a bit chilly?
Well, for me the answer to that question is THE KIMONO.

The kimono is a Japanese traditional garment. The word means literally a thing to wear.
Most of the Kimono's you can find in stores are decorated with fringes. Which I like the most about them! To be honest I don't like them without the fringes, but that's just an opinion.
They are made of a light fabric which is nice to wear in the summer when it gets a bit colder at night.

I would wear this with denim shorts and a plain top underneath or just with a bikini actually!

Do you like the Kimono? And how would you wear them?

My latest addiction

A girl from my class was telling me she was watching a lot of series lately. And to be honest I wanted to watch a serie again too. It looks fun to lay back and enjoy a good serie that you can watch over and over again without getting really bored of it.

I had a list of series a need to watch but when she told me she was watching Friends all over again from season 1, I wanted to do the same thing!
So yes, my latest addiction now is watching Friends.
If you don't know what Friends is, then you're probably from another planet. Or you just don't watch series as much as I do.

Friends or F.R.I.E.N.D.S. To be exactly, is a serie about 6 friends (obvisiously). Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler and Joey. Let's get you a nice description from wikipedia.

Rachel Green flees her wedding day and seeks out childhood friend Monica Geller, a New York City chef. They become roommates, and Rachel joins Monica's social circle of single people in their mid-20s: struggling actor Joey Tribbiani, business professional Chandler Bing, masseuse and musician Phoebe Buffay, and newly divorced paleontologist Ross Geller, Monica's older brother. To support herself Rachel becomes a waitress at Central Perk, the Manhattan coffeehouse where the group often hangs out; when not there, the six are usually at Monica and Rachel's nearby West Village apartment, or Joey and Chandler's across the hall.

March Favourites 2014

Hello!
Here's another blogpost with my monthly favourites!
This month I've been loving a lot of different things I wanted to share, let's start.

First thing on my list is the movie "We're the Millers". It's about a drugsdealer who has to bring over drugs from Mexico. He creates a fake family and has to deal with a lot of problems during his trip.
It's a fun movie to watch with a great storyline and I almost laughed the whole time!

I know this fragrance is out a long time ago but this month I enjoyed it so much it had to be on my list.
It's a very floral scent and lasts the whole day. You even smell it on your clothes the day after!
The scent doesn't bother others or myself. I just loooooove it!

Ahh this lipstick just says it all. It makes your outfit so elegant. I wear it almost all the time!

My Spring Essentials

Hello!
It's finally spring, which means you have to get some new clothes. Before I'm moving on to my spring essentials, I want to assure you I'm not a specialist in fashion. This is just a post about my essentials and what I want to have during spring.

1. Boyfriend jeans
You can get some great boyfriend jeans in River Island, H&M or Topshop.
Yes, I know these were popular during Summer 2013, but believe me they are still in style! (where I live they aren't even discovered yet..)

2. Denim Jacket
Sometimes a little breeze comes around the corner and you have to prepare for it. A denim jacket makes sure you are still fabulous when your hair gets crazy from the wind.

3. Cute pastel dresses/tops/skirts
Spring is the time to get back those cute colors. Light blue, pink, yellow, ... I call them happy colors!

4. Floral blouses
I don't think I need to explain why this is an essential. Spring is all about flowers and cuteness.

5. Chunky heeled sandals
It's always nice to have some heeled sandals. Choose for some chunky heeled ones this spring!

6. Flatforms
I want them just because they are so cute and gives a special touch to your shoes.

I actually wanted to do a September favorites but back then it was already the 15th so…

Okay, I've never done this before so I really don't know where to start.. I guess people just say random stuff they like?

1. Beautystuff
The things I liked this month were eyeliners! My obsession is becoming so weird that I actually don't like myself without… oops.
I'm using the L'Oreal Superliner!
